Ce 6 mai, Dean Magraw est en duo avec Eric Kamau Grávátt. La frappe du batteur, déterminée, étayée d'un faisceau de danse et de nuances, d'accents francs et surprenants, où les obliques lucides retrouvent la piste du voyage, s'allie sans peine avec les prises de position, animées, profondes, du guitariste. La cohésion est forte : la musique alors, imposante silhouette, suffit à la vie.
Le chant du duo n'est pas oublieux. Il sait ce qu'il doit à sa propre histoire, mais il ne tient pas à s'y complaire, sy noyer.
